FIVE ZFI FELLOWS INDUCTED INTO CIVIL SERVICES

May 11, 2011 (New Delhi): Each year ZFI selects and sponsors the coaching of a limited number of 'ZFI Fellows,' (link) i.e. academically meritorious and financially deserving candidates who appear in the highly competitive Civil Services examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission of India (UPSC).

We are proud to announce that this year five ZFI Fellows have been selected to the civil services! These successful candidates were:

The Civil Services offer about 850 positions a year, out of a pool of 1,93,000 yearly candidates - i.e. 0.44% success rate.

Per media reports, this year only 31 Muslim candidates were selected to the Civil Services out of a total of 920 spots. ZFI Fellows constituted 16% of the total number of Muslims inducted this year.
