Dear Philanthropist,

Assalaamu ‘Alaikum & Ramadan Mubarak!

Thank you for your support of Zakat Foundation of India (ZFI), a charity registered under Indian Trusts Act, Income-tax Act (80G) and FCRA.

We pride ourselves in continuing our tradition of having accounts which are meticulously maintained, and annually audited by chartered accountants with returns annually submitted to the Income-tax Department.

As you know, the institutions / facilities established and run by ZFI are as follows:

2) Happy Home: Orphanage for boys.
3) Adams Hospital: 20 bed – multiple facilities.
4) Mercy Home: Medical centre in Bawana Jhuggi Jhopri cluster.
5) Mobile Dispensary: Catering to poverty stricken uncared for areas.
6) IQRA: Sponsoring students in schools, colleges, hostels.
7) Sir Syed Coaching & Guidance Centre:  Sponsoring coaching for academically bright, poor graduates for civil services.
8) Widow Ration Scheme: Monthly distribution of cereals etc among poor widows.

In addition, ZFI has camped on-site during 2002 Gujarat riots, 2005 Kashmir earthquake, 2005 Tsunami disaster and Murshidabad hunger deaths in order to provide medical and financial relief.

Our work has been widely covered in the news media, including a front page article in Hindustan Times (link).

The goal of Zakat Foundation of India is to make poor persons stand on their feet, and become financially independent.

Your support is invaluable to our mission, and we appeal to you to donate generously your Sadaqa, Zakat, Fitra, Imdaad amounts either online or through cheque / draft / pay order. USA and India tax-deduction is available for your donations.
